SYSTEM OF HEART

KNOW YOUR HEART
Heart or heart is one of the important organs in our survival. We have seen that the heart pumps blood around the body to provide oxygen and its other substances for the benefit of all the cells in our body. Because of the interest of continuous heart contracts to pump blood throughout life endlessly.

LAY
The heart is located in the chest cavity to the chest that is protected by the sternum, ribs and spine. The heart lies in the chest along with the lungs that contained them. Position of the heart is a little left of the sternum.
The heart is wrapped by a layer called the pericardium. Among the wrapper (the pericardium) with heart contained fluid serves as a lubricant to facilitate the movement of the heart during pumping.

PARTS HEART
Broadly speaking, the heart is divided into two parts: the right and left, each consisting of two parts, namely the atria and ventricles. Right heart function associated with the exchange of oxygen and carbon dioxide gas in the lungs where kananlah heart that pumps blood to the lungs. While the left heart function associated with the circulation of blood throughout the body due to left heart that pumps blood throughout the body.

    Right heart valve

Right atrium of the heart receives blood from the entire body behind. Left atrium of the heart receives blood from the lungs. The right ventricle pumps blood to the lungs. While the left ventricle pumps blood around the body.

Heart valves. In each of the parts of the heart, the atria and ventricles are separated by a valve that prevents blood flow beneath the atrium from the ventricle into the normal flow of blood from the atria to the ventricles. Heart sounds we can hear through a stethoscope or through the ear attached to the chest arising from the valve shut.

CARDIAC BLOOD VESSEL
The heart is an organ made up of muscle. Heart muscle is contracting to pump blood around the body. Contraction of the heart muscle that occurs requires energy and oxygen from the blood itself. The blood flow to the heart through the coronary arteries (coronary). Coronary blood vessels attached to the outer wall of the heart.

SETTING OF HEART
Work of the heart in pumping blood set automatically without our control. If the body needs more oxygen for example when doing heavy physical activity then automatically the heart will pump more often (frequency increases) and more powerful. Vice versa, decreased heart rate at rest.
The automatic control system is controlled by the autonomic nervous system. Autonomic nerves consist of sympathetic and parasympathetic nerves. Sympathetic nerves increase heart work while the parasympathetic nervous otherwise, can inhibit the work of the heart.
