Advice for Muslim Youth
We dedicate this advice to our brothers and especially my young Muslim teenager. Hopefully this advice may open the eyes of their hearts so that they know more about who he was, what obligations they have to exert as a Muslim, so that they feel that the youth is not appropriate for cases that can be filled with their neglect of the remembrance of Allah subhanahu wata'ala as the creator, so they are not constantly wander into the life of the mortal world and forget the eternal Hereafter.
O Muslim youth, do not you want a happy life forever? Do not you want Jannah (Paradise) Allah subhanahu wata'ala as wide as the heavens and the earth?
Know that Allah subhanahu wata'ala jannah is achieved with painstaking efforts in charity. Jannah is reserved for those who fear Him who they know that life in this world is temporary, they felt that the glitter of the life of this world will deceive mankind and drag them to a miserable life in the Hereafter forever. Allah subhanahu wata'ala said:
وما الحياة الدنيا إلا متاع الغرور
"The life of the world is nothing but a deceiving enjoyment." (Ali 'Imran: 185)
For What We Live in the World?
O youth, you know, it's Allah Subhanahu wata'ala has created us and not without a purpose. Nor is it gives us an opportunity to have fun, but to achieve a noble goal. Allah subhanahu wata'ala said:
وما خلقت الجن والإنس إلا ليعبدون
"And I created not the jinn and the men but that they worship Me." (Adh Dzariyat: 56)
Worship Allah subhanahu wata'ala to execute all his commands and avoid all of his ban. That's the main tasks to be performed by every servant of God.
In worship, we are required to sincerity in running it. That is, with worship merely expecting pleasure and reward of Allah subhanahu wata'ala. Do not worship because they had to, or because of prestige to those around us. Moreover worship in order to be said that we are a pious people, we are righteous people or a form of praise and flattery others.
Your stay will not be long
Dear young people, do not ever occurred to you: worship later when it's dark, or while there is still young, used to spree Spree. You know, it's all an evil seduction that invites us to be their friend in An Nar (Fire).
Do you know when you will be called by Allah subhanahu wata'ala, how much longer you will live in this world? The answer is as Allah subhanahu wata'ala:
وما تدري نفس ماذا تكسب غدا وما تدري نفس بأي أرض تموت إن الله عليم خبير
"And no one can know what it will do tomorrow. And no one can know where on earth he was going to die. Surely Allah is knowing, All-Aware. "(Luqman: 34)
Dear young people, you bertaqwalah Allah subhanahu wata'ala. Maybe today you are in the midst of the people who were laughing, partying, and rah-rah welcome the new year with different forms of immorality to Allah subhanahu wata'ala, but the next day you've been in the midst of the people who was crying watching the bodies you put into the grave (tomb) of the narrow and suffocating.
How wretched and harm us, if we have not had time to do good deeds. In fact, at the time the practice ourselves alone will be our companion when facing Allah subhanahu wata'ala. The Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam said:
يتبع الميت ثلاثة: أهله وماله وعمله, فيرجع اثنان ويبقى واحد, يرجع أهله وماله ويبقى عمله.
"The body was accompanied there are three: his family, his property, and deeds. Two of the three will go back and stay one course (that follows), family and wealth return, and live righteous deeds (to be accompanied). "(Agreed Alaihi)
Dear young people, you fear to Allaah subhanahu wata'ala. Are you ready to scale your charity that you will surely encounter later. It is enough that you do for charity is to increase the weight for his good deeds.
How miserable we are, as it turns out our good weight balance the scales lighter than ugliness. Remember the words of Allah subhanahu wata'ala:
فأما من ثقلت موازينه فهو في عيشة راضية وأما من خفت موازينه فأمه هاوية وما أدراك ما هيه نار حامية
"And as for those weighing scales (of good deeds) it, then he is in a satisfactory life. And as for those whose balance (of good deeds) it, then this place is hell Hawiyah return. Do you know what the hell Hawiyah it? (It is) a very hot fire. "(Al Qari'ah: 6-11)
Haste in Charity
O youth, haste to charitable virtue, steadfast in prayer with earnest, sincere and appropriate guidance of the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam. Because prayer is the first to be brought to account on the Day of Resurrection, as his saying:
إن أول ما يحاسب الناس به يوم القيامة من أعمالهم الصلاة
"Indeed, the practice of the first people judged him on the Day of Judgment is the prayer." (Narrated by At Tirmidhi, An Nasa `i, Abu Dawud, Ibn Majah and Ahmad. Lafazh hadeeth narrated by Abu Dawood 733)
For men, should be with the congregation in the mosque. Multiply dhikr and remembrance of Allah subhanahu wata'ala. Read the Qur'an, for verily he will intercede for its readers on the Day of Judgement.
Multiply repent to Allah subhanahu wata'ala. How many sins and wickedness you have done so far. Hopefully with repentance, Allah subhanahu wata'ala will forgive your sins and reward with which you will gain happiness of the world and the hereafter.
Dear young people, many-many good deeds, surely Allah subhanahu wata'ala will give you a happy life, the world and the hereafter. Allah subhanahu wata'ala said:
من عمل صالحا من ذكر أو أنثى وهو مؤمن فلنحيينه حياة طيبة ولنجزينهم أجرهم بأحسن ما كانوا يعملون
"Those who do good deeds, both men and women in a state of faith, verily to him will We give a good life." (An-Nahl: 97)
What You Spend for your youth?
The question is what will be submitted to each servant of Allah subhanahu wata'ala on the Day of Judgement. As reported by the Prophet sallallaahu 'alaihi wasallam in one hadith:
لا تزول قدم ابن آدم يوم القيامة من عند ربه حتى يسأل عن خمس: عن عمره فيما أفناه وعن شبابه فيما أبلاه وماله من أين اكتسبه وفيما أنفقه وماذا عمل فيما علم.
"It will shift the foot son of Adam (humans) on the Day of Judgement in the presence of his Lord until asked about the five cases: age for what was spent, spent his youth as to what, from where he acquired his wealth and treasure spent on what, and Have charity towards the knowledge that he knew. "(Narrated by At Tirmidhi no. 2340)
Now try to correct yourself, have you filling your youth for useful things that bring pleasure of Allah subhanahu wata'ala? Or are you content of your youth with immoral deeds that bring His wrath?
If you still have time to fill your youth to have fun and forget to Allah subhanahu wata'ala, then the answer to what you can say in front of Allah subhanahu wata'ala The Lord of the Day of Judgment? Do you not fear for Allah subhanahu wata'ala against the multitude to sin and sinners? And Allah subhanahu wata'ala threatens offenders in His Word:
من يعمل سوءا يجز به ولا يجد له من دون الله وليا ولا نصيرا
"Those who do evil, He will be recompensed with a crime and he does not get protection and not (also) helper for him other than Allah." (An Nisa ': 123)
It is not old age that will be asked by Allah subhanahu wata'ala. Therefore, use the opportunity at a young age for the good guys.
Remember-always remember that any charity that you do will be accountable before Allah subhanahu later wata'ala.
Avoid actions Maksiat
What caused Adam and Hawwa expelled from Al Jannah (heaven)? Is none other than their disobedience to Allah subhanahu wata'ala both. They violated the prohibitions of Allah subhanahu wata'ala as approaching a tree in Al-Jannah, they are seduced by the devil seduction that invites them to engage in immoral to Allah subhanahu wata'ala.
O youth, always the devil, demons, and his troops attempted to bring all mankind so that they engage in immoral to Allah Subhanahu wata'ala, they invite all mankind to be his friend in hell. Allah subhanahu wata'ala As explained in his word (which means):
إن الشيطان لكم عدو فاتخذوه عدوا إنما يدعو حزبه ليكونوا من أصحاب السعير
"Verily Satan is an enemy to you, so make it an enemy (mu), for verily demons invite party so they will be companions of the Fire were burning." (Fathir: 6)
Every evil and immoral deeds you have done, although smaller would have noted and taken into account in the sight of Allah subhanahu wata'ala. Surely you will see the evil consequences of what you have done it. Allah subhanahu wata'ala says (which means):
ومن يعمل مثقال ذرة شرا يره
"And whoever does evil slightest, surely he would see (reply) it." (Az Zalzalah: 8)
Satan also wants to disobedience, the human race became divided and mutually hostile. Do not think that when you are with your friends doing disobedience to Allah subhanahu wata'ala, it is an expression of solidarity and cohesion among you. Nay, it sooner or later, your friends who you love an enemy you hate the most. Allah subhanahu wata'ala said:
إنما يريد الشيطان أن يوقع بينكم العداوة والبغضاء في الخمر والميسر ويصدكم عن ذكر الله وعن الصلاة فهل أنتم منتهون
"Surely he intends going to cause enmity and hatred among you because (drinking) khamr and gambling, and hinder you from the remembrance of Allah and prayer, then stop you (from doing the deed)." (Al-Maida: 91)
So Satan made immoral acts by humans as a means to divide and cause animosity between them.
